How to Use Process
Ø Preparing for Sampling
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water, then dry them completely. Warm fingers make it easier to obtain a blood sample.
Ø Using the Lancing Device
Open the Device: Turn the lid of the lancing device counterclockwise to open it.
Insert the Lancet: Fully insert the lancet into its holder and press firmly. Twist and remove the lancet's protective cover.
Close the Device: Turn the lid of the lancing device clockwise to secure it.
Adjust Sampling Depth: Use the dial to set the sampling depth based on your skin type:
- 1–2: For thin skin
- 3: For normal skin
-
4–5: For thick skin
(Note: Higher settings increase the depth of the puncture and the volume of the blood sample.)
Load the Device: Pull back the end of the lancing device to load it. Position it at your fingertip and press the release button to obtain a blood sample.
Ø Collecting Blood Using a Mini Pipette (7 pL)
- Attach the Tip: Insert the pipette tip securely into the pipette.
- Collect the Blood: Press the pipette’s top button to the first stage and touch it to the blood drop. Slowly release the button to draw the blood into the tip.
- Important: Releasing the button too quickly may result in insufficient blood collection.
- Release the Blood: Push the button down fully to transfer the blood sample onto the strip.
Ø Collecting Blood Using a Blood Collector Tube (7 µL) (Optional)
- Wipe away the first two drops of blood. Apply light pressure to collect the third drop.
- Hold the blood collector tube horizontally. Touch the tip to the blood sample. The tube will automatically draw the blood up to the fill line.
Ø Testing and Results
